DDR3 Ram
The DDR3 or double data rate type 3 RAM, as is evident from the
name, came right after DDR and DDR2 memory. It is programmed with a
bus clock speed ranging from 400 MHz up to 1066 MHz, and has memory
chips with sizes from 1 GB to 24 GB. In 2007, the first motherboards
for supporting the DDR3 memory were introduced in the market because
they had to be specifically developed to ensure smooth operation of
the DDR3 memory. This particular memory chip is used in PDAs,
Netbooks and other small electronic devices as well.
